Custom website re-design, re-brand & full website copy re-write

Process

I follow the same process with every client, but understand the needs of every business is different. There are no hidden extras.

After you book the package, you receive a welcome kit via email that includes your contract, deep-dive questionnaire and project timeline.

Preparation phase: Week 1

  1. You answer a detailed questionnaire to help me understand your audience, target customers, business goals, brand style and vision.

  2. We set up your shared Client Project Folder in my Google Drive so we can keep all our files in one place moving forward.

  3. We then meet on a 60-minute consult call to discuss your questionnaire, your current website concerns and your vision for your new site.

  4. We’ll talk about the functionality you want such as forms, pop-up, slideshows, newsletter sign-ups, blog, appointment scheduling etc. (These may change as we move forward).

  5. I do a thorough audit of your existing website’s design and content and any other brand collateral you want to share.

  6. I carry out business and competitor research for you to understand what you do differently or better.

  7. Now is time for voice of customer gathering to ‘feed’ your website copy. I’ll study your reviews or testimonials and if you agree, interview some of your existing clients or customers to understand their key concerns and painpoints and what motivates them.

Mid phase: Week 1

  1. You receive a full re-brand design and content recommendation report. This positioning guide includes an assessment of how to improve your existing site experience, UX and customer journey and SEO keyword suggestions.

  2. I map out the journey your audience will go on from when they enter the new site to when they take action.

  3. We meet on a 60-minute consult call to talk through the rationale, discuss, approve or tweak these recommendations.

Action phase: Weeks 2 - 4

  1. I prepare your website content (up to 8 pages) first because I take a content-first approach to design.

  2. You receive this in draft format.

  3. We meet on a short call to review the content together and make any edits you need.

  4. I design your home page which you then review for fonts, feel, mood and icons, and we tweak. We use this as the basis for the other pages on the site.

  5. I work on the re-design of your website (up to 8 pages) and your custom 404 page.

  6. This work includes Royalty-free image/illustrations sourcing where needed and custom icon design.

  7. You review your new website and we make any tweaks required.

  8. I fill out site descriptions, page titles, custom URLs, apply search-friendly formatting, and other key elements to help Google crawl, understand, and rank your website.

  9. I test all links, forms and features on your website.

  10. I make your domain transfer/connection to your new Squarespace platform and we make your new website live! I link up your Google Analytics, social media and email marketing accounts to your new site.

  11. Once your web design project is complete, full ownership of the website will be transferred to you, with the option to retain my services for regular content updates.

  12. Optional: one-to-one 60-minute video tutorial on completion (recorded) so that you can easily update your Squarespace site ahead.

Time required from start to finish: 4 weeks

· Optional at additional cost: Logo re-design; customised home page company video; social media banners; continued website updates

REVIVAL PACKAGE

Website content audit & tactical copy overhaul

Includes 90-minute consult call/meeting to discuss your website concerns and goals; business and competitor research; voice of customer gathering; website content audit; assessment of site experience, UX and customer journey; SEO keyword improvement suggestions; design enhancement recommendations with wireframes; full re-write of up to 8 website pages.

· Time required from start to finish: 2 weeks.
· Your outcome: A website you can have unshakeable confidence in whose content directs your user journey. Copy that answers your users’ questions, builds trust and convinces them to take action.

Choose the REVIVAL package if you’re happy with the overall design format of your existing site but you know your website content is not performing.

1. Contact me via my contact form with brief details of what you need. Include a link to your website.

2. I’ll call you to discuss your project and challenges, talk through which package would best suit you and the process. Packages can be customised or adapted to what you need.

3. I’ll send you confirmation of the project, let you know the timeline and schedule it in.
